Notes: Drove 45 minutes from Bluebonnet RV Park on Monday Jun 3 to this wetland. Turns out, the only day they are closed was on Mondays. 🙁 The walkways were open so I explored the area and will send the entrance fee later. The park included extensive boardwalks throughout the wetlands giving perfect advantage points for capturing shots of the multitudes of odes. Hope I get a chance to return sometime and visit the visitor center. There were a great number of Needham’s Skimmers on the shore near the visitor center.
